We at Comon Invent B.V. take your privacy seriously. This privacy statement explains what personal data Comon Invent B.V. collects of you, through our services, and how we use that personal data. 

What Personal Data Do We Collect 

Comon Invent B.V. collects data to provide you with the service that you request. You provide us data to create a Comon Websuite user account and contact us for support. We also get data by recording how you interact with our service by, for example, technologies like cookies. 

You have choices about the data we collect. When you are asked to provide personal data, you may decline. But if you choose not to provide data that is necessary to provide a product or feature, you may not be able to use that product or feature.  

The personal data we collect in order for you to use the Comon Websuite can include the following: 

Name and contact data: We collect your first and last name, email address, phone number or other similar contact data. 

Credentials: We collect passwords (only encrypted passwords) and similar security information used for authentication and account access. 

Location data: For our products with location-features, such as the Mobile eNose, we collect data about the products location when it is used. This location data is used for the functionality of the Mobile eNose to correlate your own odour perception entries in the “odour entry module” with readings of the Mobile eNose itself.  

How Do We Use Personal Data 

Comon Invent B.V. uses the collected data to provide you with the services we offer and to grant you access to the Comon Websuite. We may also use this data to track Comon Websuite login activity. Furthermore, we use this data to communicate with you, regarding for example, service updates, informing you about the functionality of the Comon Websuite and for customer-support related matters.  

How Do We Share Personal Data 

Comon Invent B.V. will never provide your personal data to third parties without your permission.  

How to Access & Control Your Personal Data 

You can view your personal data in the Comon Websuite account page. Upon your request we can edit, or delete your personal data. On the accounts page you can change your personal password to login the Comon Websuite.

Data retention
The personal data that you submit to Comon Invent B.V. will only be retained for as long as required for you to have access to your Comon Websuite project. Our retention of your personal data allows Comon Invent B.V. to continue to provide you with highly personalized services without interruption.  

By default, for the time your Websuite project is active, your personal data will be stored. This is required for you to log-in to the project. If your project is inactive, you can still retain access to the project to retrieve historical project data.

Cookies 

The website of Comon Invent B.V. (www.comon-invent.com) uses cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is sent along with pages from the website. The information in this file is saved by your browser. Other pages on this website can retrieve that information. For example, that the system knows whether you are logged in or not. 

Usefulness and necessity
The cookies ensure the proper and safe functioning of the website. By using cookies, the use of the website is measured in order to improve the service provision. The data is stored anonymously and no “tracking cookies” from other parties are used.  

Your privacy
For privacy reasons the user data of the website itself is collected. This data is not shared with third parties and no personal data is recorded. IP addresses are automatically anonymized and pages viewed cannot be linked to certain IP addresses afterwards. 

Do Not Track
Comon Invent B.V. respects the “Do Not Track” (DNT) function of your browser. If you have enabled the “Do Not Track” functionality via the settings of your browser, no user data of your visit to the website of Comon Invent B.V. will be saved.
