During a festive event on the 25th of February 2014 an eNose network in Maassluis has been commissioned. The official ceremony was performed by Alderman of the Municipality of Maassluis Huub Eitjes and Princess Laurentien.
eNoses are compact instruments that monitor qualitative changes of the air composition. With the instalment of eNoses across the port area Rijnmond, several stakeholders cooperate in establishing a region-wide odour monitoring eNose network (Wenose).
